12/02/2007 i agree with potato. how do you go into a jc when theres only like less than 200 spaces for people trying to get in through o levels? there are already people who are in IP whose friendster accounts and blogs have their direct admission via IP junior college plus years. like they havent even go in la.. the ministry of education really ruined the lives of those who want to work hard and get into good jcs. they give like 7/10 of spaces for IP. 2/10 for dsa. wth? then whats the bloody point of studying? if you dont have any special talents, you can be sure of NOT going in. some people just hardcore pia some yo yo or rubik's cube or some god forsaken music instrument then they see that guy as special and have talents. then they dont care studies and even before mid yr sec 4 they are already in. wheres the justice in that? does that mean that from the day you get your psle results your fate's already decided? 200 spaces imagine theres roughly dno how many schools in singapore divide by that number left how many spaces, dont think even got 20 per school. now jcs keep implementing IP when their objectives are totally crap. i dont even see the rationale. seriously speaking. theres like not enough jcs in singapore liao the ministry know not. then arent they forcing us to go to those relatively incompetent jcs? the ministry is getting more and more absurd. the whole foundation of democracy which singapore claims to be built upon is failing.
