Leap year. which means people born on the 29th feb turn four years old. =S speaking of birthdays, i am requested to bring $10 for ivan's birthday present tomorrow. and i feel that i must comment on this particular issue. I feel that birthday celebrations, cheers, events etc. in our class are always inclined towards certain individuals only. I do not recall some people ( roughly know who la ) getting birthday presents from the class and all. Not even a single song, let alone a present. -_- I must say it really turns me off to fork out cash to buy presents for people within Group 1. *Okay Group 1 includes people who receive presents every year * Group 2 are those who dont I mean, like when its a G2-er's birthday everyone doesnt sing, cheer, buy anything. Of course, I am not implying that every birthday must be accompanied by a gift, but buying presents every time for G1-ers and singing songs and all that totally negates the validity of the reasons for the absence of these items. Why should someone be different if we are a class? I do not see [correct me if I am wrong] Leonard getting presents, I do not see Shi Hao getting presents, I do not see JiaJin getting presents, I do not see Timothy getting any presents, I do not see Mok getting any presents < ( this list is not exhaustive ) Hell I dont even see myself getting presents/songs from the class. Guess why, because my birthday, or anyone else's out there, had fallen on a Sunday, and is once again totally ignored by many (not all-but most of my class). What the hell does this show? Once again i emphasize on my point that I am not implying that every birthday must be accompanied by a gift. I am absolutely not angry at why I did not receive a present, so dont get me wrong. I am just stating the facts. So I am slightly unhappy with buying presents for people falling under Group 1. A present forcefully bought bears no thought 4-3 people who see this. kindly reflect and ask yourself whether what is stated in the above paragraph is true. I feel like scolding people. Hell I did NOT receive any presents for the last three years. NO I DID NOT WTF CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT. (okay thanks for the cake last year though) wth la. and assuming everyone is forking out 5 or 10 dollars. Does a present cost $(33x5) or $(33x10)? Is the price that exorbitant? No right. This is outrageous. I didnt even receive so much as a pathetic piece of tissue these few years and just for One Birthday we are paying hundreds of dollars. Class 4-3. If you all just celebrate a few people's birthday, then what is there for us to be happy about. Hell I have already lost interest in celebrating birthdays. Even mine. They are just not special in any way. NOT ONE BLOODY BIT UNIQUE AND HEARTWARMING. It's like an annual routine. Come And Go. Pointless. Like did anyone call me out and go out to celebrate? no. and im stuck with celebrating birthdays with everyone for other people. like wtf.
